World Music is the essence of the Festival MED. In this 18th edition, the enclosure includes twelve stages, with the Cerca, the Matriz, the Castle and the Chafariz once again being the main ones, welcoming great names from the international circuit of world music. 33 artists will perform, but in total, the medieval city centre will host 90 hours of music, 66 concerts and more than 300 musicians from bands of 21 nationalities over these four days. Surely, the commitment to musical quality is a hallmark of the Festival MED and one of the goals is to provide the public with exceptional experiences on this musical journey.
